John Dore’s formal training and experience include psychoanalysis, neurolinguistic programming, addictions counseling, psychodrama, family therapy, and human resource management. For 30 years John trained doctoral students in psychology, linguistics and speech science; and was chairman of an interdisciplinary program in language use across the social sciences. As a university-wide full professor he also taught literature, and at various times religion and addictions counseling, to undergraduates. He’s been a consultant to national funding agencies, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and counseling services. His more than 50 publications – in business, academic and trade journals – cover diverse issues in human development.
